In order to create one of the most unique silver bars available today, the refiners at Monarch Precious Metals have gone back to the traditional approach of minting. Using hands-on techniques, MPM produces silver bars that are unmatched by most other precious metal products. Today, you can purchase a 10 oz. Silver Monarch Poured Bar from Silver.com.

When you visit the Monarch Precious Metals refinery you won’t find a facility filled entirely with advanced equipment, machine presses, and laser inscribers. The production process at MPM, although state-of-the-art, relies upon the work of human hands to create one-of-a-kind silver bars.
Each of the 10 oz. Silver Monarch Poured Bars in this product listing was created using a hand-poured approach. Silver is poured by hand into the casts at MPM, and the finished product is marked with engravings courtesy of hand stamping by employees at the refinery. The result is a silver bar that is reminiscent of those found in a pirate’s treasure chest.
On the primary face of each bar are the identifying marks for the product, arranged from left to right rather than top to bottom. On the left-hand side of the bar is the purity and metal content. On the right-hand side is the weight of the bar. In the middle, the MPM corporate logo, a crown created by the combination of the letters “MPM.” The company name is located around the logo, with “Monarch Precious” stamped above in an arch, and “Metals” stamped below.
Monarch Precious Metals was founded in southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley in 2008. All of its bars featured one-sided engraving. The opposite side of its products have no markings. Both sides feature a matte finish that is rough and textured. The edges are round and unrefined.
