In ancient Chinese culture, the Jade Emperor hosted a meeting between the creatures of the animal kingdom. Only 12 animals reached the meeting and were honored with a spot on the Zodiac. The order of the creature’s appearance was determined by the results of the Great Race, the rush to meet the Jade Emperor. The dragon arrived fifth.
On the reverse face of the 100 Gram Silver PAMP Suisse Dragon Bar is the image of a dragon, China’s national emblem, wrapped around a pole. The lone engraving on the reverse side is the Chinese symbol for dragon.
The obverse face of the bar depicts the opposite image of that featured on the reverse. The dragon’s body and the backside of the pole are visible, with engravings included along the length of the pole. At the top is the PAMP Suisse logo. Below that engraving, the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar are featured. An individual serial number and the assayer’s mark are featured at the bottom.
