Customers: Please note these coins are either PCGS or NGC graded as MS65 condition and will be from years of our choice, all 1907-1933 and based on our inventory at the time you place your order.

The $20 Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle Coin was originally released in 1907 after the Liberty Double Eagle was removed from circulation. It continued to enjoy production until a 1933 legislation abolished the production of all gold currency. It would be the last $20 gold coin ever produced by the United States Mint, consequently, making it a highly valuable collectible among investors and coin enthusiasts today.

Every double eagle coin featured in this collection boasts a gold content of .9675 oz as well a certified MS65 grade by either the NGC or the PCGS. Coins certified with an MS65 grade are in above average condition with only superficial scuffing due to small contact marks. As a preventive measure, all coins have remained sealed in their individual NGC or PGCS certified slab since they were graded.

Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ artwork for the $20 Double Eagle is among one of the most memorable designs in US currency. Showcased on the front of the coin is Lady Liberty. She is dressed in a classically inspired toga. In one hand, she holds a torch as a symbol of enlightenment and in the other she holds an olive branch as a symbol of peace. She stands poised on a mountain summit, overlooking the Capitol Building. Behind her are rays of sunlight illuminating the background. A ring of stars serves as a frame for Saint Gaudens’ stunning artwork.

Saint-Gaudens chose the bald eagle as his central design element for the reverse of the coin. It is depicted soaring through the skies with radiant beams of sunlight emanating behind it. Printed in an arched heading above the bird are the phrases, “United States of America” and “Twenty Dollars.” Beneath the eagle is the motto, “In God We Trust.” It is worth noting, however, that the motto only appears on coins that were minted after 1908.

With its historical significance and its artistic value, the $20 Saint-Gaudens’ Double Eagle Coin is a priceless asset to any collection or investment. Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
