Gold Kangaroo coins from the Perth Mint represent a longstanding gold bullion coin series. The Perth Mint features many animal species native to the continent such as the kookaburra, koala, and kangaroo on silver bullion coins, but only the kangaroo also features on a gold bullion coin series from the mint that exceeds the age of its silver counterparts. Today, 1/10 oz Gold Australian Kangaroo Coins are available to you online at Silver.com.

The obverse side of 1/10 oz Gold Australian Kangaroos features a right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. From 1990 to 1998, the Gold Kangaroos have the 1984 design created by Raphael Maklouf. The most common image is the Ian Rank-Broadley design created in 1998 and released on Australian coins in 1999 and lasting until 2018. Since 2019, most Australian coins have featured the sixth-generation design from Jody Clark.

On the reverse of 1/10 oz Gold Kangaroos is the design of a kangaroo. The large marsupial species moves on two powerful hind legs with a muscular tail to help balance the creature as it moves. It is depicted in new reliefs on the reverse side of the coins with each new date mark.
