The Gold Chinese Panda coin series is one of the most obvious examples of a prominent 1 Kilogram Gold Coin. Gold Panda coins were the third-ever gold bullion coins released to the global market. The South African Krugerrand dominated the precious metals industry for decades before a Western embargo and the introduction of the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf.

Unveiled in 1980, and available continuously since 1982, the Chinese Gold Panda is a bullion and proof product backed by the People’s Republic of China. Its most telling characteristic is the ever-changing design of its panda imagery on the obverse.

Each of the 1 Kilogram Gold Coins offered to you here today are from varied programs, which means you’ll receive various designs potentially in your purchase. Silver.com cannot guarantee you a particular design on the coin or particular mint of origin. Selection will be determined by availability in our warehouse when your order is fulfilled for shipping.

Other examples of 1 Kilogram Gold Coins are available from the modern precious metals market as well. The Perth Mint is a major producer of gold coins. The oldest operating mint in Australia, the Perth Mint was originally part of the Royal Mint system on the Australian continent during British colonial rule.

Today, Perth Mint remains as the lone facility from that system and operates separately of the federal government’s Royal Australian Mint. Examples of 1 Kilo Gold Coins from the Perth Mint includes popular annual release, in proof, of the Australian Gold Koala, Australian Gold Kookaburra, and occasionally the Lunar Series II coins.

Gold coins in this particular weight often represent the largest possible bullion coin. Few mints strike 1 Kilogram coins on a regular basis, and those that do offer them in extremely limited mintage figures. A 1 Kilogram Gold Coin offers the best combination of gold price per ounce in a singular product and the ability to store it with ease.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
