The Aztec Sun Stone, also known as the Aztec Calendar Stone, is a remarkable archaeological artifact from ancient Mesoamerica. Often referred to as the “Stone of the Sun” (Piedra del Sol in Spanish), this massive stone monolith was intricately crafted by the Aztecs, the indigenous people of Mexico, specifically during the reign of Moctezuma II, the 6th Aztec monarch, from 1502 to 1520. You can now acquire 1 Kilo Silver Aztec Sun Stone Stackers at Silver.com.

Stacker Highlights:

  • Comes in custom capsules!
  • Features a gold-plated finish!
  • Limited to only 99 stackers!
  • Consists of One Kilogram, or 32.15 Troy ounces, of .999 fine silver.

The Aztec Sun Stone was a magnificent piece of art and a symbol of the Aztec people’s understanding of the cosmos and their complex calendrical systems. After the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, the stone was buried beneath the central square of Mexico City, and it was rediscovered in 1790. Today, it is displayed in the National Anthropology Museum in Mexico City, where it continues to be a powerful symbol of Aztec culture and heritage.

Every 1 Kilo Silver Aztec Sun Stone Stackers available at Silver.com comes in custom capsules that perfectly match the stacker’s shape. The stackers are enriched with a delicate layer of 24-karat gold, giving them a unique and captivating finish.

On both the obverse and reverse of the Aztec Sun Stone Silver Stacker, you’ll find a faithful representation of the renowned Aztec artifact. The Aztec Sun Stone is rich in symbolism and iconography, with its various elements conveying the Aztec worldview and religious beliefs. For example, at the center of the stone is the face of the sun god, Tonatiuh, with his tongue extended. Tonatiuh was considered the fifth sun in the Aztec creation myth and was associated with the present era or the fifth world. The extended tongue represents the god’s thirst for human blood, which the Aztecs believed was necessary to ensure the sun’s continuous journey across the sky.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
