A reliable friend of the American infantryman in the Second World War, the M3 submachine gun had a high rate of fire and could be cheaply mass-produced to equip the large armies that deployed in Europe and the Pacific to do battle with the Axis. The member of a fire team who was tasked with using this gun to provide close support for his teammates was called the grease man. The legacy of this kind of American military hero is celebrated in pure copper with the second issue in the Soldier Bullion series, the 1 oz Copper Greaseman Gary Round available from Silver.com.

Collectible Highlights:

  • Individual rounds come in a plastic flip, while larger orders ship in tubes of 20 or in boxes of 500!
  • Second issue in the Soldier Bullion series!
  • Consists of One ADVP ounce of .999 fine copper.
  • Obverse side features the Soldier Bullion logo.
  • Reverse side artwork features Greaseman Gary in action.

The Copper Greaseman Gary Round uses high-quality engraving in pure copper to commemorate a crucial infantryman’s role in the battles of the Second World War. Single rounds come in plastic flips, with larger orders coming in tubes to twenty or boxes of five hundred. Silver.com fully insures your shipment against loss or damage.

The Soldier Bullion series provides distinctive designs to celebrate the kinds of soldiers who came together, each with their own specialty, to keep each other alive and take the fight to the enemy on the battlefields of World War Two. The greaseman with his trusty M3 submachine gun was all about providing close support for the riflemen and machine gunners on his fire team. This collectible gives him a playful nickname and a distinctive personality to make his round stand out.

“Greaseman Gary” wears a confident smile as he traverses a smoky battlefield on the round’s reverse side, carrying his M3 and on the lookout for enemies. His nickname is inscribed at the lower rim, flanked by three stars on each side.

The Soldier Bullion series logo dominates the reverse side. It consists of an American WW2-era military star surrounded by rays of starlight, with the inscription “Solder Bullion” at the design’s center.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
