The Perth Mint of Western Australian is one of the world’s leading bullion producers. From gold and silver coins to gold bullion bars, Perth is a prolific refiner. Its coin programs are some of the most famous in the world, but there are those that sometimes fly under the radar. One perfect example is the recently-introduced Gold Australian Swan Series. Today, 1 oz Gold Australian Swans from random years are available to you online at Silver.com.

The Perth Mint was founded in 1899 and has long used the swan as both its official logo and one of its most popular design elements on bullion bars. The city of Perth itself dates back to 1829 when it was founded on the banks of the Swan River and was known as the Swan River Colony. The birds that swam the waters of the river became the logo of the mint.

All of these 1 oz Gold Australian Swans are available to you inside individual plastic flips. The coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are offered here at Silver.com from random years. The Gold Swan Series started in 2017 and all coins available to date feature One Troy ounce of .9999 fine gold content. The mintage each year through 2020 has been capped at just 5,000 coins.

Silver.com offers the coins listed here from random years of issue. We are not able to guarantee the date mark and design of the coin you receive in advance. All pieces are selected at random after your payment has been processed and we choose your coins at that point from available stock.

On the obverse of 1 oz Gold Australian Swans is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. There are two different busts of Her Majesty on the obverse of these coins, with Ian Rank-Broadley’s bust of the Queen on coins dated 2017 and 2018. Jody Clark’s portrait of Her Majesty features on the obverse side of the coins from 2019 onward.

The reverse side of Gold Australian Swans comes with a new image of a swan on the reverse. Designs change each year to include images of either an individual swan or a mature swan with young hatchlings.
