Gold Maple Leafs are globally renowned as a top-selling gold bullion coin and the market’s second-oldest series. Only the Krugerrand from the South African Mint predates it. A significant milestone for this series occurred in 1982, when the purity was elevated to 24-karat gold. Right now, 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf Tubes are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Tube Highlights:

  • Ships to you inside individual tubes of 10 coins!
  • Comes with random dates!
  • Dates include only 1982 to present!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .9999 fine gold per coin.
  • Bears individual face values of $50 (CAD) backed by the federal government of Canada.
  • The obverse features portraits of Queen Elizabeth II.
  • On the reverse is the sugar maple leaf.
  • Please remember that dates and obverse designs may vary or match.

The 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf Tube comprises 10 coins, each containing .9999 pure gold and featuring random date marks. The available dates in this tube span from 1982 to the present. Please note that the specific date or design of the coins in the tube cannot be guaranteed.

Introduced in 1979, the Gold Canadian Maple Leaf was just the second gold bullion coin introduced behind the 1967 debut of the Gold South African Krugerrand. These coins were initially offered only in 1 oz gold with .999 fineness through November 1982.

The obverse of all Gold Canadian Maple Leafs in this tube features Queen Elizabeth II. These coins display three possible effigies of the Queen. The first design, by Arnold Machin, was used on coins until 1989. The second design, by Dora de Pedery-Hunt, was used from 1990 to 2004. The third design, by Susanna Blunt, has been used from 2005 onwards.

The reverse of 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf Coins in this tube displays the iconic sugar maple leaf. Designed by Walter Ott in 1979 for the Gold Maple, this depiction of a natural sugar maple leaf has since been replicated on the silver, platinum, and palladium versions of the coin.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

Upon completing checkout with a VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card, you may be promoted for additional details to confirm your identity and protect our customers against credit card fraud.

We are required to collect sales tax in certain states. You can review your states sales tax policy here: https://www.silver.com/taxes. You should always consult with a tax adviser for specific advice in your area.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
