When it comes to buying silver, there aren’t many product lines that offer .9999 fine silver. Among major silver bullion coin programs, there are only a handful of sovereign bullion coins with .9999 silver and fewer silver bullion bars that have .9999 fine silver. The new Silver Buffalo Rounds available at Silver.com offer a rarity in the form of .9999 fine silver in a silver round format. Today, 1 oz Silver Buffalo Rounds are available to you online at Silver.com.

The Buffalo Nickel image, like many of its counterparts from the early 20th century, has been replicated on countless occasions by modern sovereign and private mints. For example, the United States Mint revived this iconic design in 2006 for use on the Gold American Buffalo bullion coin. Issued as of 2006, that coin is available in BU and proof versions. Among the other formats, you’ll find the Buffalo Nickel design on silver rounds.
All of the 1 oz Silver Buffalo Rounds in this product listing at Silver.com come in brand-new condition. Privately minted in the United States of America, these beautiful silver rounds ship inside of individual plastic flips and come with the highest level of silver purity you will find in any silver bullion product. All of these silver rounds have .9999 fine silver.
An indigenous tribal figure is shown on the obverse side of the 1 oz Silver Buffalo Rounds. The only item missing from the original design by James Earle Fraser is a date mark. You will otherwise find the right-profile bust of a tribal figure with a stoic look on his face, braided hair, and feathers woven in. The word “Liberty” is inscribed just in front of his face along with the design rocker.
The American bison is featured on the reverse of Silver Buffalo Rounds. Just as Fraser designed it, the American bison is depicted in left-profile relief with its full, shaggy mane on display. The powerful beast is the largest land mammal in North America and it is shown standing on a small mound of dirt. This side of the silver round has inscriptions of the weight, purity, and metal content.
