The Lunar Series collections from Perth Mint debuted in 1996 with gold coins for sale in Lunar Series I. Starting in 1999, the Lunar Series I program offered silver coins as well, running through the conclusion of that program in 1997. From 2008 to 2019, the Lunar Series II program was in production in gold and silver. As of 2020, the Lunar Series III program has been in production with silver, gold, and platinum coins.

All of the 10 oz Silver Australian Lunar Coins in this listing come to you with random designs and dates. Each coin will be packaged in a protective plastic capsule and come with either .999 or .9999 fine silver content. Coins dated 1999 to 2007 have .999 fine silver and come from the Lunar Series I program. Coins dated 2008 to present come from the Lunar Series II or III program and have .9999 fine silver.

The reverse field of 10 oz Silver Australian Lunar Coins features varying designs. The Lunar Series collections each run 12 years and feature the 12 animals from the Chinese Zodiac. Lunar Series I coins feature just one animal in the reverse design, while Lunar Series II and III coins showcase an adult and baby version of the animal.

All Orders are fully insured by Silver.com from the time of carrier pickup to the time of finaly delivery, defined as a signature or delivery confirmation from the carrier. Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.
