Struck between 1878 and 1921, the Morgan Silver Dollar is a true classic of American coinage. In addition to its historic ties to the Old West, the coin also boasts a highly original Lady Liberty portrait. It was designed by George T. Morgan while serving as the U.S. Mint’s Assistant Engraver. Morgan is known for several other designs, including the un-released $100 Gold Union Coin. However, the Morgan Silver Dollar is widely considered his masterpiece.

When ordering 1882-S Morgan Dollar Coins, you can expect to receive a 90% silver specimen in certified condition. Following a professional inspection, PCGS assigned these coins a grade of Mint State 64. The coins are delivered in sturdy slabs that bear the PCGS logo and official grade.

On the obverse of Silver Morgan Dollar Coins, Lady Liberty appears in left-profile relief. On her head is a Liberty band along with a crown of wheat and a Phrygian cap. This portrait bears the likeness of Philadelphia teacher Anna Williams, who sat five times for Mr. Morgan during preparations. The obverse also features the words E Pluribus Unum, which translates to “out of many, one.”

The reverse of 1882-S Silver Morgan Dollars shows an American bald eagle flying forth with open wings. Facing forward while looking left, the eagle is depicted with the traditional arrows and olive branch in its talons. Flanking America’s national bird are two decorative laurels whose ends are tied with a ribbon. Below them, you’ll find the coin’s mintmark. There are reverse inscriptions also that read United States of America, In God We Trust, One Dollar.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
