Introducing the legendary 1896 Silver Morgan Dollar Coins, a true American classic that embodies the rich heritage of our nation’s currency. Struck from 1878 to 1904, and then again in 1921, these iconic coins were minted by Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Carson City. However, please note that coins from the Philadelphia Mint during this period do not bear a mint mark. At Silver.com, we are delighted to offer you the chance to own these prestigious pieces of history.

Rest assured that each 1896 Silver Morgan Dollar Coin will arrive in a PCGS protective plastic slab, preserving its authenticity and condition. These coins have been graded as MS63 by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). Coins in this condition have a slightly impaired, though attractive mint luster. The coins will have only a few detracting flaws present in the prime focal areas, with a few scattered hairlines and either several minor contact marks or a handful of heavier contact marks present on the surface of the coins.

On the obverse side of these coins, you will find a captivating portrayal of Lady Liberty. Her left-facing profile showcases a Phrygian cap crowned with a coronet and laurel wreath, while the design also incorporates 13 stars, signifying the original colonies. The year of issuance and the phrase “E Pluribus Unum” further adorn this majestic coin.

The reverse side boasts a splendid depiction of the heraldic eagle of the United States, featuring a magnificent bald eagle with outstretched wings and its gaze fixed to the right. With arrows and an olive branch clutched in its talons, this symbol of strength and peace captivates the imagination.

These coins are named after Assistant Engraver of the US Mint, George T. Morgan. These coins display his designs on both the obverse and reverse fields. While these coins were minted at four different locations, the Philadelphia Mint struck the most hitting north of 300 million.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
