Silver American Eagles are currently available in three different versions each year. The bullion, investment-grade version of the coin was released in 1986 along with the proof version of the coin. In 2006, a burnished version of the coin was introduced as well. All three versions include only a 1 oz silver coin option.

The coins available to you in this 35-coin set come with certifications from the NGC. When coins receive a grade it indicates that each one was assessed by professionals to determine the condition of the mint luster, design strike, and general condition of the surface areas, rims, and other surfaces. Each coin is assigned a grade between 1 and 70 on the Sheldon numeric scale and sealed inside a plastic slab to protect the condition.

On the obverse of all Silver Americans is Walking Liberty. This design is an icon of American coining and was developed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman for use on the half dollar. It remained in circulation until 1947 when production of the design stopped.

The reverse field of the Silver American Eagles bears the modern vision of the historic heraldic eagle of the United States. The first image of the heraldic eagle was created in 1792 by the 1st Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, Robert Scot. This version is the latest depiction of the national seal and was modified in 1986 by John Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.

These 1986-2020 Silver American Eagle 35-Coin Sets include a total of 35 individual silver coins. Each of the 35 date marks released between 1986 and 2020 is available in this set with each coin housed in its own protective plastic slab. All coins in the set have a Mint State 69 certification. Coins in this condition showcase full, original mint luster with no more than two minor detracting flaws. Acceptable flaws at this grade include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase.
