Silver American Eagles come from the United States Mint in Brilliant Uncirculated, Proof, and Burnished versions on an annual basis. The BU version of the coin is immensely popular with investors and is the best-selling silver coin in the world. Available individually each year, you can also find annual sets that include one coin from each available date mark packaged together, each one boasting a certification from the NGC or PCGS. Right now, 1986-2021 Silver American Eagles 36-Coin Sets are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Set Highlights:

  • Ships to you in a box with individual protective plastic slabs from the NGC!
  • Features all 36 date marks from 1986 to 2021!
  • Availability of certified coins is limited!
  • Consists of 36 Troy ounces of .999 fine silver.
  • Bears individual face values of $1 (USD) backed by the federal government.
  • Issued Grades of Mint State 69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
  • The obverse field depicts Walking Liberty.
  • On the reverse side is the heraldic eagle of the United States.

Each of the coins in the 1986-2021 Silver American Eagle 36-Coin Set comes with a Mint State 69 certification from the NGC. Coins in this condition are considered near-perfect and exhibit full, original mint luster. You will also find a maximum of two minor detracting flaws on the coins that are limited to minuscule contact marks or hairlines. These flaws must be located outside of the primary focal points of the coin.

These types of Silver American Eagle Sets allow you the chance to purchase one of each available date mark in the series all at once. Each year from 1986 to 2021 is represented in this set, with all coins boasting the same MS69 grade and each coin packaged inside of its own protective slab from the NGC. This set proves unique as two 1986-2021 sets are possible given the new reverse design available mid-2021 on the Silver Eagle. As such, a 1986-2021 set with the 2021 coin featuring the original designs is available alongside a 1986-2021 set with the new 2021 coin design.

The obverse field of the Silver American Eagles in this 1986-2021 36-Coin Set features the Walking Liberty image. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, the image shows Liberty walking in left-profile relief as she marches toward the sun on the horizon with her right hand outstretched, her left hand carrying branches of oak and laurel, and the American flag over her shoulders.

On the reverse side of Silver American Eagles in the 1986-2021 36-Coin Set is the heraldic eagle of the United States. Available for the final time, this image shows the bald eagle with the US national shield on its chest, arrows of war in one talon, and the olive branch of peace in the other.
