The American Silver Eagle is a flagship coin of the United States Mint, introduced in 1986 as a trusted silver bullion product. Initially offered in BU and Proof versions, the BU coin has been consistently issued each year since the series began. This listing gives you the opportunity to own a certified collection of American Silver Eagles featuring one coin from every year of issue through 2025. Right now, 1986-2025 Silver American Eagle 41-Coin Sets are available online at Silver.com.

Coin Set Highlights:

  • Coins arrive in individual slabs within a box!
  • Includes all 41 issues from 1986 to 2025!
  • Limited availability of certified coin sets!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver per coin.
  • Issued individual face values of $1 (USD) by the United States.
  • Bears Grades of Mint State 69 from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation.
  • The obverse of each coin features Walking Liberty.
  • On the reverse, the coins feature either the heraldic eagle or the new soaring eagle image.
  • Please keep in mind that each set has two 2021-dated coins.

On the obverse of every 1 oz Silver Eagle Coin, you’ll find the Walking Liberty design, one of the most admired images in American coinage. Adolph A. Weinman created this design in 1916, and it originally appeared on the US Half Dollar. Lady Liberty is shown walking toward the rising sun, draped in the American flag, with her right hand extended and her left holding branches of oak and laurel.

The reverse of each Silver American Eagle showcases the American bald eagle. Coins dated 1986 to early 2021 display the heraldic eagle design by John Mercanti, while coins dated mid-2021 through 2025 feature Emily Damstra’s soaring eagle in flight. The transition year of 2021 resulted in two distinct coins with different reverse designs, both of which are included in this set.

The redesign of the reverse in 2021 was part of the 35th anniversary of the series. The U.S. Mint is allowed to update a coin’s design only once every 25 years unless Congress specifies otherwise. This redesign ensured the Silver Eagle remains modern while maintaining its status as a beloved classic.

Each coin in this 1986-2025 Silver American Eagle 41-Coin Set is graded Mint State 69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Coins with this grade offer brilliant mint luster and up to two minor imperfections, such as faint contact marks or hairlines, located outside the main focal areas. The coins are individually encapsulated in protective slabs and delivered together in a box.

We also never have access to your credit/debit card details, as they are securely communicated directly to the payment processor (Authorize.net) and never retained by Silver.com. For this reason, we also don't process credit/debit card orders over the phone, as it is the least secure way to process those transactions.

Upon completing checkout with a VISA or MasterCard credit/debit card, you may be promoted for additional details to confirm your identity and protect our customers against credit card fraud.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
