This coin was struck with 22 karats of actual gold content and contains a metal balance of 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver. Within the image, a male eagle is shown flying overhead toward a nest where a female eagle waits with their eaglets. The male eagle carries an olive branch in its talons, pointing toward the patriotism and history of the United States.
