The celebrated Indian Head Quarter Eagle is a unique offering in U.S. coin history. This renowned coin was a daring departure from previous U.S. designs when it was first minted in 1907. The $2.50 Indian Gold Quarter Eagles continued to be produced through 1929. Minted with .1209 troy ounces of pure gold, these Indian Gold Quarter Eagles MS64 are lustrous and eye-catching enough to be on display. Measuring 18mm in diameter, these gold coins also make excellent investments and are a great way to build your holdings of tangible assets.

Coin Highlights:

  • Contains .1209 oz of pure gold.
  • Minted in the United States between 1908 and 1929.
  • Given an MS64 grade.
  • Face value of $2.50 backed by the US government.

One of the unique features about these Indian Gold Quarter Eagles is that their inscriptions are sunken into the coin’s surface rather than raised. This unique design element makes these coins a standout in the history of US coinage. Additionally, the Indian head itself is etched with remarkable detail from the character of the profile to the feathers of the headdress. The word “Liberty” is inscribed above the profile while the year of issue is shown below. Customers will note the extraordinary level of detail in the design. The featured Native American is also surrounded by a wreath of stars. The design was created by the artist Bela-Lyon Pratt.

The reverse side of this historic coin features a naturalistic American eagle gripping an olive branch. This side is inscribed with “In God We Trust,” “E Pluribus Unum,” and “The United States of America.” The face value is also listed on this reverse of the coin. Again, the detail inherent on this side of the coin is quite remarkable and one of the reasons why collectors continue to seek out these coins.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
