The silver round designs in the Time Travels Series take the viewer back to the late-19th century, but not the one you’ve read about in the history books. Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction that often envisions an alternative history of the American Wild West era or Britain’s Victorian Era during the same time period.
Steampunk themes combine an industrial chic appeal with the concept of a world in which steam power remained the driving force in life, so to speak. Macian Enterprises has a number of exciting designs planned for the obverse of each silver round in this collection, with three versions of each design planned for release. The obverse of 2 oz Antique Silver Time Travels Series Wayfarer Maiden Rounds includes the first design in the series. This woman is known as the Wayfarer Maiden. She wields two flintlock pistols in her hands and has common steampunk-themed elements in the background design field. The most notable among these is the tall-mast flying ship just above her left shoulder.
On the reverse of 2 oz Silver Time Travels Series Wayfarer Maiden Rounds is the image of an all-seeing eye. This is the common design element that will feature on the reverse of future issues in this series. The all-seeing eye is set at the center of a four-pointed star and the background field includes various gears. The outer design edge of both sides of the round has a gear-themed border design.
