The Merrick Mint produces enhanced legal tender notes from the Federal Reserve Note series of US paper money designed to attract collectors. One of the most popular mediums for this enhanced artwork is the US $2 Bill. The $2 bill is the lowest circulated note in the US, but has high production figures that mean there are plenty of uncirculated, crisp notes available for this type of beautiful enhancement for collectors. Now, $2 Rover Landing Legal Tender Notes are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Note Highlights:

  • Notes ship to you inside of presentation booklets with an included Certificate of Authenticity!
  • Crisp $2 US legal tender bills!
  • Brilliantly enhanced with high-definition graphics on the obverse!
  • Issued a face value of $2 (USD) by the United States.
  • The obverse depicts Perseverance leaving Earth, landing on Mars, and exploring the Martian planet.
  • On the reverse is John Trumbull’s painting of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Perseverance’s job is to investigate the ancient environment of the Martian planet and collect surface samples to inspect the geological processes and history of the surface. Among the goals of the mission is to determine whether Mars was habitable in the past and whether or not it may be habitable for humans in the future.

While Perseverance is not the first NASA robot to land on the Martian surface, it does have several unique features that make this mission distinct. For example, Perseverance has the ability to capture high-definition, full-color images of the Martian surface and even record sounds from the surface of the planet. Notably, Perseverance has company in the form of Ingenuity, a small robotic helicopter that can be deployed from Perseverance for further exploration of the planet.

The obverse of $2 Rover Landing Legal Tender Notes comes with enhanced graphics covering the traditional bust of President Thomas Jefferson. With full-color imagery, you will notice the rocket launch that sent Perseverance into space, the moment the robotic rover lander on the Martian surface, and a depiction of the rover lander itself as it surveys the planet.

On the reverse side of $2 Rover Landing Legal Tender Notes is the traditional depiction of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. When the modern $2 Federal Reserve Note was introduced in 1976, the Treasury selected John Trumbull’s oil painting from 1818 to serve as the reverse artwork for the $2 bill.

These $2 Rover Landing Legal Tender Notes are available to purchase in clean, crisp, uncirculated condition. The notes have been enhanced on the obverse with high-definition imagery. The notes come with a bi-fold presentation booklet and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
