It is largely agreed that the most popular coin program ever run by the United States Mint was the 50 State Quarters collection that ran from 1999 to 2008. In addition to standard circulating quarters, the Mint also released special proof sets featuring the 5 quarters released each year. These sets are excellent collectible items and the perfect way to commemorate the United States of America. Today, 2004 Silver US Mint Proof Quarters Sets are available to you online at Silver.com.

Each of these 2004 US Mint Quarters Sets includes original mint packaging. This consists of an outer box, a decorative plastic holder containing all 5 quarters, and a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint. Each of these proof quarters has been struck multiple times under extra pressure using specially polished dies. This gives the coins their exquisite mirror-like backgrounds and frosted devices. If you know anyone who loves State Quarters, this beautiful set could be an excellent gift idea.

The United States Public Law 105-124 of 1997 authorized the US Mint to launch a coin program in celebration of the 50 states in the Union. It was decided that the series would consist of quarters with a unique state design on the reverse side of each. Starting in 1999, 5 new quarters were released per year in the order that the states entered the Union. The series concluded in 2008.

George Washington is featured on the obverse of each coin in the 2004 Silver US Mint Proof Quarters Sets. In this neo-classical-style portrait, we see Washington facing left from the neck up with a calm, dignified expression on his face. There are obverse inscriptions on each quarter that read United States of America, Liberty, In God We Trust, Quarter Dollar. Also shown is the San Francisco mintmark.

Unique designs for each state are shown on the reverse of the coins in 2004 Silver US Mint Proof Quarters Sets. You will also see the year 2004 as well as the year each territory became a state. Finally, all of the quarters share the inscription E Pluribus Unum. The states for the 2004 issue include Texas, Florida, Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
