The 2007 release of Proof Gold American Eagles represents one of the last years in which the Proof Gold Eagles enjoyed higher demand than currently seen in the 2020s. Across the four weights, mintages in 2007 were higher than had been seen in more than a decade, and there would only be one more issue with comparable mintage levels before the coins saw a downturn in mintages. Now, certified-perfect 2007-W 1/10 oz Proof Gold American Eagles are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

All four of the weights in the 2007 Proof Gold Eagle saw a jump compared to the 20th-anniversary release in 2006. This increase varied from just over 4,000 coins for the 1 oz gold coin to more than 10,000 coins each for the 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz gold coins, with the 1/10 oz gold coin registering the largest jump at more than 11,000 coins.
2007 has proven to be the last high-water mark in the series in terms of mintage figures. None of the coins had reached these levels since 1995, and after mintages were halved across the series in 2008, no coins were issued in 2009. In 2010, pent-up demand brought a rebound close to or above 2007 levels, but mintages have continually fallen and remained low since 2011.
The obverse of 2007-W Proof Gold American Eagles features a historic effigy of Liberty. Created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens a century earlier in 1907, the image shows Liberty in front-facing relief as she strides forward with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other as the U.S. Capitol Building is visible at her feet and sun rays frame her figure from behind.
On the reverse side of 2007-W 1/10 oz Proof Gold Eagles is a depiction of bald eagles. Designed by Miley Busiek in 1986, this image shows a male eagle soaring over the nest while a female eagle guards the hatchlings in the nest.
These 2007-W 1/10 oz Proof Gold American Eagles are available with perfect PR70 certifications. Coins in this condition showcase full, original mint luster with no flaws. DCAM coins are deep-cameo proofs with strong, frosted designs contrasting deeply-mirrored, clear fields.
