One of the many coin programs released by the United States Mint each year is its proof set. These collections vary in size by year based on commemorative releases in the common circulation face values the US Mint produces. In 2012, the Silver Proof Set from the mint included a stunning total of 14 coins in all. Now, 2012 Silver US Mint Proof Sets are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

During this period of production for the United States Mint, there were various coins available to include in the annual Silver US Mint Proof Sets. Each set the US Mint releases features the coins and designs from common circulation, including the penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar.

When the America the Beautiful bullion coin series was running from 2010 to 2021, the US Mint included the circulation strike of the ATB designs within the Silver Proof Sets instead of a single Washington Quarter. From 2007-2016, the US Mint also included the dollar coins from its Presidential Dollar Series.

Designs on the coins in this 2012 Silver US Mint Proof Set vary based on the specific item you are looking at. The 2012 US Presidential Dollar coins have effigies of President Grover Cleveland, twice, as well as President Benjamin Harrison and President Chester Arthur. The designs on the five 2012 Silver ATB Quarters include designs representing Puerto Rico, New Mexico, Maine, Hawai’i, and Alaska. The five circulation coins have the standard portraits of Lincoln, Jefferson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Sacagawea.

These 2012 Silver US Mint Proof Sets come with three separate plastic holders. The five circulation coins are housed together in one holder, the four US President Dollars in another, and the five Silver ATB Quarters in the third. All sets were issued with an outer sleeve and Certificate of Authenticity. Please note that some sets may be missing parts of the packaging or show wear and tear, but remain in good overall condition.

Silver US Mint Proof Sets have proof strikes on all coins that deliver frosted designs with mirror-like fields. The dime, ATB Quarters, and half dollar all have 90% silver content with 10% copper.
