Customers: Unfortunately, due the the way in which these coins are minted, it is not uncommon for ATB coins to show slight signs of wear such as surface scratches, nicks and dings. Because of this we cannot guarantee that the coins will arrive to you in flawless condition.

The outstanding “America the Beautiful” series is one of the United States Mint’s most revered collections. Each ATB coin has been designed to reflect the most popular landmarks and national parks of the nation’s states and territories. Popular with collectors and investors, the coins are a great way to build your portfolio of precious metals. Their stellar craftsmanship and artistry makes them ideal as gifts, as well.

Coin Highlights:

  • 18th coin overall and third of 2013 released in the America the Beautiful Series from the US Mint.
  • Ships to you in individual plastic capsules, tubes of 10, or Monster Boxes of 100 coins.
  • Consists of five troy ounces of .999 fine silver.
  • Bears a face value of $.25 (USD) backed by the federal government.
  • Celebrates the state of Nevada in the ATB Series.
  • Commemorates Great Basin National Park, established in 1922.
  • Struck in bullion and proof versions.

Each 2013 5 oz ATB Great Basin Silver Coin has been minted with five troy ounces of pure .999 silver. Customers will note that each coin is also stamped with the phrase “E Pluribus Unum” as well as the state and year of issue. The Great Basin Silver Coin celebrates the state of Nevada’s Great Basin National Park. The design features a large bristlecone pine tree in the foreground. The Great Basin is, of course, famous for its various species of pines.

The background of the coin showcases the open space of the West. The ground before the tree features the hard rocky ground that western states like Nevada are known for. The tree has been etched with detail, making for a lovely natural scene. The obverse of the coin shows George Washington just as he appears on the standard U.S. quarter.

The U.S. Mint has long been known for its high-quality minting processes and product excellence. These ATB silver coins make extraordinary show pieces for any display. We ship these coins within about 3 days of cleared payment with orders over $3,000 receiving free shipping. We will also insure all shipments against loss and require a signature upon delivery of orders over $1,000.
