In 1937, the bullion depository was built at West Point to house some of the nation’s gold bullion reserves near one of its most important and secure locations, the US Military Academy. The site began issuing US coinage in the 1970s, even though it was not an official branch mint and did not strike the coins with mint marks. Originally known as the Fort Knox of Silver, today the West Point Mint both strikes US coinage and stores roughly 22% of the United States’ gold reserves.

All of the 2013-W Silver American Eagle 75th Anniversary 2-Coin Sets available here come with individual plastic slabs and boast near-perfect certifications. These grades of SP69 and PF69 indicate coins that have full, original mint luster and no more than two minor detractions. Examples of these detractions include only minuscule hairlines or contact marks that occur only outside the primary focal points of the coin.

On the obverse of 2013-W Silver Eagle Coins is a depiction of Walking Liberty. This left-profile relief features a design from Adolph A. Weinman that was created in 1916. The reverse side of the 2013-W 1 oz Silver American Eagles in this set comes with the heraldic eagle. Designed in 1986 by John Mercanti, it is a modern take on one of the oldest US coin designs.

The coins in this set offer two unique visuals. The reverse-proof coin has mirrored designs and frosted fields. The enhanced, uncirculated coin has a combination of brilliant polishes, heavy frosting, and light frosting for the elements of the coin.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
