The coins are 5 ounces and contain .999 pure silver. Each one is shipped in new, uncirculated condition.
This particular coin is the newest addition to the series which was introduced in 2014, and represents the Arches National Park. A magnificently detailed natural stone arch is displayed on the coin, showing collectors one of the many natural features that can be visited in person at this park. The detial of the landscape of the part on this coin is incredible. The back of the coin shows a stamped 1932 painting of George Washington. Like every other coin in this series, the name of the state the coin represents (in this case, Utah), the year the coin was minted, and the U.S. motto, “E Pluribus Unum” are all also featured on the back.
These coins are highly popular with collectors, as no new ones will be made after the initial series is minted. This makes them rare and highly prized additions to coin collections around the world, but particularly in the United States. Be sure to get yours while it is still available.
