According to the Chinese Zodiac, those born in 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015 fall into the Year of the Goat. Unlike the traditional calendar in which a year starts on January 1st, the Lunar year usually starts in February or late January. Those born in a goat year are said to be clever, kind hearted and polite but also shy and pessimistic.

The 2015 1/2 oz Silver Australian Year of the Goat Coin features an all new design created by Natasha Muhl which reveals three goats grazing in a field. Two adult goats are stopped and staring ahead cautiously while the young goat has his head down feeding on the grass. Above the adult goat is the Chinese symbol for “goat” with the P mintmark stamped to the left. Underneath the family of goats is the marking for “Year of the Goat.”

The coin’s obverse shows the classic design of a young Queen Elizabeth II as created by Ian Rank-Broadley. In his portrait of her majesty, Rank-Broadley depicts the queen turned in profile wearing her tiara. The queens name and country are listed above to the left and right respectively. To the bottom left of the queen, etchings for the coin’s weight and metal fineness are listed followed by the year and face value.

As the oldest standing mint in Australia, the Perth Mint is known for its minting achievements and advanced technology. As is further supported by the Lunar Series, the mint is recognized worldwide for their stunning precious metal coins like those in the Lunar Series. Minted with artistic design elements and 99.9% pure silver, the 2015 1/2 oz Silver Australian Goat Coins are available in their mint-sealed packaging. Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
