Silver Australian Kookaburra coins debuted in 1990 from the Perth Mint. This marked the first silver bullion coin release from the mint and set the standard for coin production from the Western Australia-owned mint. The Silver Kookaburra’s use of new designs each year was built upon with the Silver Koala, Silver Kangaroo, Silver Wedge Tail Eagle, and the Silver Emu releases in the decades to come.
All of the 2015 1 oz Silver Australian Kookaburra Goat Privy Coins in this listing come with an individual protective plastic capsule from the Perth Mint. Each coin is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
On the obverse face of the 2015 1 oz Silver Australian Kookaburra coins is Queen Elizabeth II. This is the fifth-generation design created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley for the Royal Mint of England, and it appeared on Perth Mint coinage from 1999 to 2018. This depiction captures the Queen in right-profile relief with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara on her head.
The reverse side of 2015 Silver Australian Kookaburra Goat Privy Coins comes with the image of a kookaburra. Here, the largest member of the kingfisher species is depicted on the stump of a tree with a small Year of the Goat privy mark included in the design field. The privy features the image of a mountain goat.
