Each of the coins in this product listing has a near-perfect grade of MS69 from the NGC. Coins in this condition have their full, original luster, and no more than two minor detracting flaws. As the NGC notes, these flaws are located outside the primary focal areas of the coin’s surface.
These coins have a deeply-mirrored, proof-like finish that is unique on a bullion coin, giving them added visual brilliance. As part of the Early Release Series, these coins were all struck during the first 30 days of the production cycle.
On the reverse you’ll see a depiction of the roadway as it emerges from one tunnel before encountering another, and offering a brief glimpse of the surrounding mountains. The obverse side bears the left-profile portrait of President George Washington as featured on American quarters.
