The 56-coin series was primarily designed for distribution as a silver bullion piece for investors and collectors, offering 5 oz silver BU and Burnished coins. However, the designs also appeared on two versions of the circulation-sized US quarter. Each of the 2016 Silver US Mint Proof America the Beautiful Quarter Sets available in this listing comes with the original packaging from the US Mint. The mint packaged the five coins together in a holder and shipped the holder in a themed shipping sleeve. While all of the coins are in original condition from the mint and the packaging is in good condition, we’d like you to note that you may notice wear and tear on some of the packaging or missing pieces. For example, you may receive the coins in the original holder without the outer shipping sleeve.

The 2016 Silver ATB Series included five distinct designs honoring the US states of Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia, North Dakota, and South Carolina. The sites represented by these states include a National Forest, two National Historical Parks, a National Park, and a National Monument.

For the obverse of the coins in the 2016 Silver US Mint Proof America the Beautiful Quarter Sets, you will find an effigy of President George Washington. This left-profile portrait depicts the nation’s first Commander-in-Chief in a portrait that was created in 1932 by John Flanagan. The inspiration for this design came from a 1786 sculpted bust of Washington that was created following the Revolutionary War.

On the reverse of the 2016 Silver US Mint Proof ATB Quarters are five different designs. The Illinois coin has a design honoring Shawnee National Forest. For the Kentucky coin, the image of an explorer looking out at the Cumberland Gap is featured. The West Virginia coin celebrates John Brown’s Fort at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. On the North Dakota coin, President Theodore Roosevelt looks out over the Little Missouri River basin in what is now known as Theodore Roosevelt National Park. William Jasper, a regimental soldier in the South Carolina militia during the American Revolution, charges forward from Fort Moultrie at Fort Sumter National Monument.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase.
