The Egyptian Relic Series from the Scottsdale Mint brings various, unique design elements to silver coins. The individual releases, regardless of size, have a chiseled granite edge. As a result, each one has a visual appeal that makes it look like a piece of ancient carving bored from the wall of an Ancient Egyptian tomb. Adding to the ancient appeal, each coin has an antique polish applied for visual brilliance and to enhance the intricate details of the design element.
Republic of Chad Egyptian Relic Series Ramesses Coins mark the fifth release in the series, and the most unique to date. The collection launched in 2016 with a 5 oz silver coin, 2 oz silver coin, and gold coin. 2017 started with another 2 oz silver coin. These Egyptian Relic Series Ramesses Silver Coins are the first to feature two takes on the same design.
All 2017 2 oz Silver Republic of Chad Egyptian Relic Series Ramesses Coins are in BU condition. Coins in BU condition show no signs of wear and tear, but do have the potential for flaws from the striking process.
