All 2018 1 oz Silver Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Coins are available here in BU condition. These flaws are the result of the normal production processes at the mint.
On the obverse of 2018 Silver Australian Wedge Tail Eagle Coins is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty features on the obverse of all Australian coins, and in this issue you’ll find the fourth-generation portrait of the Queen. Created by Ian Rank-Broadley, this design has been in use since 1998. “Elizabeth II,” “Australia,” and “1 Dollar” are engraved around the outer rocker of the coin’s design surface.
The reverse of the 2018 1 oz Silver Wedge Tail Eagle Coin bears the new design of the wedge tail eagle for 2018. There are a total of three wedge tail eagles in this design, with a large adult in the foreground tending to a hatchling in a nest while another adult eagle returns to the nest in flight. “Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle,” “P,” and “2018 1 oz 9999 Silver” are all engraved around the rim of the coin’s design field.
