The addition of an antique polish to these rimless blanks gives each finished coin the appearance of ancient coinage.

Each coin is housed in the box and contains an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The number on the COA reflects the laser-etched serial number found on the edge of each coin.

On the obverse of 2018 2 oz Silver Jesus Scourged Biblical Coins is the image of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is the longest-reigning monarch in British history and has had her effigy featured on coinage in various generations. This particular effigy is the third-generation design created for the Royal Mint in 1985 by Raphael Maklouf and was used through 1997.

The reverse of the 2018 Silver Jesus Scourged Coin includes a design reflecting the moment that judgment was passed down on Jesus by Pilate and the Romans. Before he is taken for crucifixion and eventual death, Jesus is flogged.

The Scottsdale Mint’s Biblical Silver Series is an exciting collection with low mintage figures and beautiful finishes. The mint is a private company located in Scottsdale, Arizona and it employs environmentally friendly, sustainable processes in its refining of silver and gold.
