The Silver Mexican Libertad coin series is unique for a variety of reasons. Unlike many other silver bullion coins, you can find the Silver Libertad available each year in seven different weights. The variety alone doesn’t make this coin program unique. There are many other distinct features of this beloved silver bullion coin from Mexico. Today, 2019 1/10 oz Silver Mexican Libertad Coins are available to you online at

Coin Highlights:

  • Available to ship inside of protective plastic packaging!
  • 29th release of 1/10 oz Silver Mexican Libertad coins!
  • Consists of One-Tenth Troy ounce of .999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • On the obverse is the image of Winged Victory.
  • The reverse side includes the design of the Mexican coat of arms.
  • Backed by Banco de Mexico.

Silver Mexican Libertad coins are available in 1 oz silver, four fractional weights, and two coins over the weight of 1 oz (2 oz and 5 oz). These weights are available in the bullion range each year as of 1996. The Proof Silver Libertad offers even more variety to silver buyers, while the reverse proof collection offers a third option that is available only in 1 oz silver.

All of these 2019 1/10 oz Silver Mexican Libertad Coins are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are shipped individually inside of protective packaging. One of the most unique aspects of the Silver Libertad is the even level of demand across the seven weights in the bullion program. While certain coins, such as the 1 oz coin, will dominate in a given year, the others remain relatively close to one another despite the vast differences in size.

For example, the 2018 Silver Libertad had a mintage of 300,000 coins. That is much higher than the other six weights, but those six other coins were all relatively steady in demand from the 1/20 oz coin up to the 5 oz coin. The difference in mintage between each of the four fractionals, the 2 oz coin, and the 5 oz coin was a mere 4,000 coins in total.

On the obverse side of 2019 Silver Libertad Coins is the image of Winged Victory. This impressive design was inspired by the image of Victory that appeared on the Centenario gold coin issued in 1921. Though it has been modified for the Silver Libertads as of the early 2000s, the design retains many of the aspects of the traditional imagery of Winged Victory.

The reverse of 2019 1/10 oz Silver Mexican Libertad Coins includes the Mexican coat of arms. The seal includes an eagle on the arm of a cactus as it does battle with a serpent. Around the seal are engravings of “Estado Unidos Mexicanos” and a wreath.
