  • Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
  • Year of the Pig design and Lion Privy mark on the reverse.

Lunar Series II picked up right where the Lunar Series I collection left off. The Perth Mint’s lunar series coins follow the exact 12-year cycle of the Zodiac, which starts with the Year of the Mouse and ends with the Year of the Pig. When the Lunar Series I collection ended in 2007, the Perth Mint launched a brand-new Lunar Series II collection.

The final year of availability for the Lunar Series II coins came in 2019 with the Year of the Pig designs. Created by Ing Ing Jong, these silver coins had a depiction of a family of pigs while the gold coins had the image of just one pig.

Queen Elizabeth II is on the obverse face of all of the 2019 1 oz Silver Australian Lunar Pig Lion Privy Coins. This is the fifth-generation portrait of the Queen on Australian coins and was designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. This effigy was used for the final time on an Australian coin with the release of the 2019 Year of the Pig coins. Other bullion coins at the Perth Mint had switched to the Jody Clark design in 2019, but the mint maintained this design on the Lunar Series II collection all coins in the series from start to finish had the same obverse.

A sow and her four young piglets are featured in the reverse design element of the 2019 1 oz Silver Australian Lunar Pig Lion Privy Coin. Along with the mother pig and her piglets in this design field is a Lion Privy mark depicting an adult male lion with a large mane.

These 2019 1 oz Silver Australian Lunar Pig Lion Privy Coins are available to you for purchase with an individual protective plastic capsule or a sealed roll of 20 coins. Each individual coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
