The new 2019 Silver Cameroon Cheetah Coin features a primary design that captures the image of one of the most well-known wild cats in the world. The cheetah is a large cat in the subfamily Felinae and is known as the only extant member of its genus, Acinonyx. Cheetahs typically have a yellowish-tan coat, though some have a grey-white coat, and are covered by nearly 2,000 solid black spots.

All of the new 2019 1 oz Silver Cameroon Cheetah Coins in this product listing are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and come housed inside of a protective plastic capsule from the Scottsdale Mint. The coins have a face value of 500 Francs CFA. The CFA is short for Central African Franc, a currency used by six independent states in Central Africa, of which Cameroon is a member.

On the obverse of 2019 1 oz Silver Cameroon Cheetah Coins is the design of a cheetah at full stride as it sprints. The design field includes three stars, each one successively larger than the other as they appear to move from the background field to the foreground of the design. The coins are proof-like with frosted designs and mirrored background fields.

The reverse of 2019 Silver Cheetah Coins bears the coat of arms for the Republic of Cameroon. In this design, the national shield is flanked in the background by two fasces topped with axes and the star from the center of the national flag appears in the middle of the design field above the scales of justice. If you look closely, you’ll notice the outline of the nation behind the scales of justice.
