The Hershey Company has been producing chocolate goods since its founding in February 1894, and today it is one of the most recognizable manufacturers of sweet treats in the world. Among its most popular products is the Hershey Kiss. Now, you can get an entirely different kind of kiss with an exciting new silver coin for sale. The 2019 Antique Silver Hershey Valentine’s Kiss Coin is currently available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coin ships to you inside of deluxe commemorative packaging with a Certificate of Authenticity included!
  • Only available for Valentine’s Day 2019!
  • Mintage limited to only 1,000 coins!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
  • Issued a face value of Two Dollars (FJD) by Fiji.
  • On the bottom of the coin is the Fijian coat of arms.
  • The primary design is a brilliant 3D rendering of the Hershey Kiss shape.
  • Antique polish!

The company first introduced the Hershey Kiss in 1907 and has done little to change its appearance in the more than 100 years that have since passed. Hershey Kisses have a distinct teardrop shape with a flat bottom to it. Each one is individually wrapped in a thin layer of aluminum foil with only a small strip of paper protruding from the packaging.

In this unbelievably unique silver coin issue, the Reserve Bank of Fiji backs an antique polish coin with the exact shape of a Hershey Kiss. Each of the coins has no engraving or design on the shape of the kiss. There is only the beauty of the antique polish and the smooth shapes of the kiss itself.

If you look on the bottom of the 2019 Antique Silver Hershey Valentine’s Kiss Coin, you’ll find the coat of arms for Fiji. This design includes a quartered shield with symbols of land and the ocean within each quarter. There are native Fijian figures supporting the shield on either side with a Polynesian-inspired boat above the shield.

The housing for these coins is what puts this release over the top. First and foremost, each coin is housed inside of a custom-made acrylic capsule in the shape of a Hershey Kiss to protect the coin’s antique polish and overall condition. The capsules are set within Hershey trademarked boxes that includes the recognizable thin strip at the top protruding in the box.

More impressively, each of the coins comes with a pure silver Certificate of Authenticity. There are four different Valentine’s Day card designs available in this collection as the Certificate of Authenticity. That means there are only 250 of each card design available in the release.
