The Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagles issued by the United States Mint in 2019 were struck by the first mint to ever produce the Silver American Eagle in any form. The San Francisco Mint originally produced both the bullion and proof versions of the coin, with the proof coins eventually going from San Francisco to Philadelphia to West Point. Each of these coins has an “S” mint mark on its reverse field.

All of the 2019-S 1 oz Silver American Eagle Enhanced Reverse Proof Coins in this listing earned perfect PR70 certifications from the PCGS. Coins with this grade have full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws on the design elements or surface areas.

Walking Liberty from Adolph A. Weinman is found on the obverse of the 2019-S 1 oz Silver American Eagles. This vision of Liberty captures her figure in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. She wears the American flag over her shoulders and has a hand outstretched toward the sun as she walks.

The heraldic eagle of the United States is depicted on the reverse of 2019-S 1 oz Silver American Eagles. The design originated in 1794 at the US Mint on its very first coins and includes an American bald eagle with the national shield on its chest while it clutches arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.

These brilliant proof pieces have impressive reverse proof enhancements. Standard reverse proofs have frosted backgrounds and mirrored elements. In this release, the frosted and mirrored polishes are varied across the design fields to create distinctive visual elements.
