The Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark coins are a new addition to the Armenian bullion series and launched in 2020. The series is unique from its silver counterpart in a number of ways. It offers three of the same weights from the silver collection, but also one different option not available in the other metal. Additionally, the coins are packaged differently and have mintage caps, unlike the silver series. Now, 2020 1/2 oz Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coin ships to you inside of a sealed protective capsule with an included Certificate of Authenticity!
  • First available coin in the Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Series!
  • Mintage limited to 5,000 coins only!
  • Consists of One-Half Troy ounce of .9999 fine gold in BU condition.
  • Issued a face value of 25,000 Dram by Armenia.
  • The obverse includes the Armenian coat of arms.
  • On the reverse is the image of Noah’s ark amid the floodwaters.

The new Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Series debuts in 2020 with four weights, compared to the seven weights in the silver series. While the silver collection has a lot of larger weights from Geiger Edelmetalle, with 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo coins, the gold collection has a 1 oz gold coin as the largest option to date.

While the silver collection has 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz coins available, the gold collection has those same 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz coins, as well as a unique 1 Gram gold coin. While the silver coins are available individually and in multiples, the gold coins are only available inside of individual security capsules.

The obverse side of 2020 1/2 oz Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins includes the coat of arms for the Republic of Armenia. The coat of arms is supported on the left by an eagle and on the right by a lion. The shield is quartered and has lions and eagles in the quadrants, with a seal at the center featuring Noah’s ark.

On the reverse face of 2020 Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins, you will find the design of Noah’s ark. In the Book of Genesis, God sends torrential rains that flood the Earth and submerge all of humanity’s cities and civilizations. The flood lasted for 40 days and 40 nights, with only Noah, his family, and two of every animal species surviving after God entrusted Noah with the plans for an ark to survive the apocalyptic flood and rebuild the world in its aftermath.

These 2020 1/2 oz Gold Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins are available to purchase with individual security capsules. The sealed security capsules have a Certificate of Authenticity included within and all coins come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
