In 2016, the Royal Mint introduced the world to its now iconic Queen’s Beasts collection. This extravagant series ran until 2021 and featured all 10 of the beasts that stood guard during Her Majesty’s coronation in 1953. The carefully detailed statues trace the Queen’s heritage and served as symbols of her ancestors watching over her as she ascended to the throne. Now, 2020 1 oz Gold British Queen’s Beast White Lion Coins are available to purchase online at Silver.com in near-perfect condition.

All 2020 British Queen’s Beast White Lion Coins will arrive inside a plastic slab from NGC. These protective cases are extremely sturdy and include a label at the top listing the official grade of MS69. This designation is guaranteed by the grading company. Because availability is limited for certified coins, these beautiful specimens are a great way to enhance your Queen’s Beasts collection.

Queen Elizabeth was crowned on June 2, 1953. As part of the ceremony, 10 statues of the Queen’s Beasts were positioned outside Westminster Abbey’s western annex. These majestic beasts were designed to represent the Queen’s heritage, with each one containing historically significant features from previous monarchal reigns. The statues were all designed by artist James Woodford and are currently on display at the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec.

Queen Elizabeth II is shown on the obverse of 2020 1 oz Gold Queen’s Beast White Lion Coins. In this 2015 design by Jody Clark, Her Majesty faces right and is wearing the George IV State Diadem. There are also inscriptions along the edge that read 100 Pounds, Elizabeth II, D. G. REG. F. D.

The White Lion of Mortimer is found on the reverse field of 2020 1 oz Gold British Queen’s Beast White Lion Coins. In this impressive design by Jody Clark, the lion is shown upright and facing the right side. It is also clutching a shield depicting the White Rose of York and rays of sunlight. In the Queen’s lineage, Edward IV declared sunlight was a sign of good fortune during battle. Meanwhile, the White Rose is tied to his grandmother Anne, who was an ancestor to the House of York.

Where does your spot price come from?

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
