Those writings would eventually lead to a feature-film franchise that includes 24 films as of 2020. Now, the iconic logo of the James Bond feature films is available on stunning bullion coins from the Perth Mint.

Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of the 2020 1 oz Gold Tuvalu James Bond Series 007 Coins in a design from Jody Clark. The image was first created in 1998 as the fourth-generation image of the queen for British coins. The fifth-generation design on Australian and Commonwealth denominations, it features the Queen with the popular Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.

The familiar logo from the opening sequences of the James Bond feature films is depicted on the reverse of 2020 Gold Tuvalu James Bond Series 007 Coins. In the opening sequence of all films, the 007 gun logo flashes as the gun-barrel frame narrows in on the silhouette of the Bond character.

A total of six men have played the role of James Bond in the feature films dating back to the release of Dr. No in 1962 starring Sean Connery. He would go on to portray Bond in the first five films and return again in Diamonds are Forever after George Lazenby portrayed Bond in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Roger Moore is the only actor to have portrayed Bond in more films than Connery, appearing seven times in the title role.
