The Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark coin is the official silver bullion coin of the Republic of Armenia and is produced outside of the country by Geiger Edelmetalle of Germany. The series is one of the newest on the European continent and was introduced in 2011. The collection features a total of seven weights for investors, with the 1 oz silver coin forming the backbone of the collection. Today, 2020 1 oz Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark Coins are available to you online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Available to ship to you inside of a plastic flip or a tube of 25 coins!
  • Tenth issue of the Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark coin!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • The face value of 500 Drams is fully backed by the Armenian government.
  • National coat of arms on the obverse.
  • Noah’s ark on the reverse of the coin.

When the Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark Series was introduced, the mint offered the coin as 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver options. After just one year, the mint increased the selection of coins to feature 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo coins as well. The 1 oz silver coin remains the best-seller in the series and outsells all other weights in most years with the exception of 2018 when it was edged out by the 1/4 oz coin.

All of the 2020 1 oz Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark coins in this product listing are available to purchase individually inside of protective plastic flips or in multiples of 25 housed in mint tubes. Each individual coin is available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

The national coat of arms for Armenia is featured on the obverse of the 2020 1 oz Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark Coin from Geiger Edelmetalle. The coins feature the national shield in the center flanked by the heraldic eagle and lion of the Republic of Armenia. The quarters of the shield feature different heraldic beasts in each one, with the lion and eagle again present. In the center of the shield is Noah’s ark on the peak of Mount Ararat.

Noah’s Ark from the Book of Genesis is depicted on the reverse of the 2020 1 oz Silver Armenian Noah’s Ark Coin. This design shows a massive ark floating on floodwaters in a world where only the tallest mountain peaks are still visible. God sent the flood to cleanse the world of the sins of mankind, selecting Noah and his family to build an ark to keep two of every kind of animal species alive to ensure life on Earth could continue.
