One of the most well-known Brits in the world today isn’t even a real-life character. The fictional super-spy, James Bond, was created in 1952 by Ian Fleming and is arguably as well-known around the globe as Queen Elizabeth II. With a new feature film arriving in 2020, the Royal Mint of England honors the cultural place held by the Bond character with a series of collectible coins. Now, 2020 1 oz Proof Silver British Bond, James Bond Coins are available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Coin ships to you inside of a commemorative display and includes a Certificate of Authenticity!
  • One of three coins issued in the Proof Silver British Bond, James Bond Series!
  • Mintage limited to 7,007 coins only!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .999 fine silver.
  • Issued a face value of 2 Pound sterling by Britain.
  • The obverse features Queen Elizabeth II.
  • On the reverse is the DB5 model Aston Martin.

James Bond is nothing short of a cultural icon. He is simultaneously rough-and-tumble, capable of running and gunning with the worst bad guys on the planet in defense of the realm and the Commonwealth, while turning on the charm when he’s not locked in battle with evil. Impeccably-dressed and well-mannered, Bond is equal parts warrior and charmer.

Ian Fleming released his first novel with the James Bond character in 1952 and the written Bond series would go on to feature 12 novels and short-story collections. Since 1962, 25 feature films in total have been produced, including the 2020 release of No Time to Die. The latter film is the fifth consecutive film to feature Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond.

The obverse side of 2020 1 oz Proof Silver British Bond, James Bond Coins includes the image of Queen Elizabeth II. Throughout her long reign, the Queen’s effigy has been updated to reflect her age at various points. Designed in 2015 by Jody Clark, this is the fifth-generation design and captures the Queen at the age of 89 in right-profile relief.

On the reverse face, the 2020 1 oz Proof Silver British Bond, James Bond Coin includes a depiction of the DB5 Aston Martin. This car was popularized in the early feature films in the Bond franchise and remains the most recognizable sports car driven by any Bond character.

These 2020 1 oz Proof Silver British Bond, James Bond Coins are available to you with a commemorative display box to house the silver coin and a Certificate of Authenticity. Included within that COA booklet, you will find background information on the early James Bond feature films.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
