When you are looking for silver for sale online, .9999 fine silver content is often one of the first features that investors seek out in bullion products. While only a handful of sovereign mints issue silver bullion coins with this purity, Texas Precious Metals and the Texas Mint represent one of the only private mints issuing silver rounds with this impressive purity. 2020 1 oz Silver Texas Mint Rounds are now available to you for purchase online at Silver.com.

Round Highlights:

  • Rounds ship to you in protective flips, tubes of 25, mini boxes of 250, and monster boxes of 500 rounds!
  • Eighth issue of the Texas Mint Silver Rounds!
  • All-new design for 2020!
  • Consists of One Troy ounce of .9999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • On the obverse is the Texas state outline with the Lone Star.
  • The reverse includes three Texians with the Gonzales cannon during the famous battle.
  • Eligible for Precious Metals IRAs.

Political and civil unrest gripped Mexico in 1835 as several states, including what is now the US state of Texas, revolted against the Mexican government. The commander of all Mexican troops in Texas was sent to Gonzales to recover a cannon the government had given Texas colonists to defend themselves against raids by the Comanche.

As the Mexican troops arrived with 100 Dragoons in total, the settlers of Gonzales delayed the Mexican units while requesting support in secret from other nearby communities. The Texians were able to amass an army of 150 militia members and launch a battle with the Mexicans. The battle resulted in just two casualties on the Mexican side, but it was considered a Texian victory as the Mexican military units withdrew from the area.

On the obverse of 2020 Silver Texas Mint Rounds is the image of the Great State of Texas. This copyrighted outline of the state has a large Lone Star imposed over it with inscriptions of the issuing mint name and the date mark.

The reverse of 2020 Texas Mint Rounds comes with a new image for the first time in its history. In this design, you see the Texian response to Mexico’s request to have the cannon back. The Texians are rumored to have told the Mexican military that the cannon was “over there,” pointing behind their lines. Mexican troops were then told to “come and take it.” This design features three Texian militia members manning the cannon and ready to defend their land.

These 2020 1 oz Silver Texas Mint Rounds are available to you with individual protective plastic flips or tubes of 25 rounds. Bulk options are available in mini-monster boxes of 250 rounds in 10 tubes and monster boxes of 500 rounds in 20 tubes. All rounds are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

We use a live, up-to-the-second spot price feed supplied by Xignite.com, a worldwide leader in the data supply market.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment. Please note, paper check and bank wire orders will NOT result in a charge to your card - we simple maintain the card on file while we await full payment by your selected payment method.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to addresses in the United States, including APOs.
