The silver bullion coin in the Silver Maple Leaf Series from the Royal Canadian Mint represents one of the purest silver bullion coins in the world. Introduced in 1988 with .9999 fine silver content, it was the first coin to boast such purity and remains one of just a handful of coins that are so pure. The 10 oz Magnificent Maple Leaf brings a new design approach to the series courtesy of designer Celia Godkin. Right now, 2020 10 oz Silver Canadian Magnificent Maple Leafs are available to purchase online at Silver.com.

Coin Highlights:

  • Ships to you inside of a plastic capsule, a sheet of three coins, or a Monster Box of 15!
  • Brilliant new maple leaf design for this unique weight!
  • Consists of Ten Troy ounces of .9999 fine silver in BU condition.
  • Bears a face value of $50 (CAD) backed by the federal government of Canada.
  • On the obverse of the coin is Queen Elizabeth II.
  • The reverse field includes two maple leaves in the Magnificent Maple Leaf design.

Each of the 2020 10 oz Silver Canadian Magnificent Maple Leafs in this product listing are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with individual or bulk options available. Individual coins ship inside of a plastic capsule while multiples of three ship inside of a sealed plastic sheet. The Monster Box option comes with 15 coins available in five sheets of three coins.

The design on the reverse field of the 2020 10 oz Silver Canadian Magnificent Maple Leaf is engraved over a background of textured lines. The maple leaves themselves are struck with various textures that create real-life visuals in the leaf. Around the outer edge of the reverse and the entire obverse background are precision-engraved radial lines. The reverse field also features a laser micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark with the “20” date in the center.

On the obverse face of 2020 Silver Canadian Magnificent Maple Leafs is a depiction of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the fourth-generation effigy used on Canadian coins and was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. Captured in right-profile relief, Her Majesty is depicted without a crown in a first for the monarch portraits during her reign and the first time since the reign of her father King George VI that a monarch appeared without a crown.

The reverse side of the 2020 10 oz Silver Canadian Magnificent Maple Leafs bears a unique design from Celia Godkin. It depicts two sugar maple leaves overlapping one another and connected at the base to a singular stem.
