Silver Somalia Elephant Coins were initially offered only as 1 oz silver coins, with a 1 Kilo coin eventually added. The series exploded in 2016 with a number of changes introduced. The most notable was the increase from .999 to .9999 fine silver content. On top of this, the collection gained three fractional-weight silver bullion coins and three additional weights between 1 oz and 1 Kilo. Among these were the 2 oz, 5 oz, and these 10 oz silver coins.

All 2020 10 oz Silver Somalia Elephant Coins in this product listing are available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins in the Silver Somalia Elephant Series above 1 oz in weight are available individually inside of protective plastic capsules.

The African bush elephant has been the focus of the African wildlife series since 1999. The bush elephant is the largest and heaviest terrestrial land mammal in the world today. These massive beasts live on the savannas and open plains of the African continent in sub-Saharan Africa.

On the reverse of 2020 10 oz Silver Somalia Elephant Coins is the depiction of two adult elephants. The heads of these two beasts are featured in side-profile relief looking at one another. The elephant on the left has very long ivory tusks that indicate advanced age, while the one on the right also has mature tusks.

The obverse of 2020 Silver Somalia Elephant Coins always features the coat of arms for Somalia. This national crest includes a crowned shield with a background field of horizontal lines and a single star in the center. The shield is flanked by leopards on either side with spears and fern leaves crossed below.
