Each 2020 2 oz Silver Republic of Sierra Leone Big Cats Lion Coin is available to you with both protective and presentation packaging. The coins are individually sealed inside of an acrylic case with a clear lid so you can always see the stunning design on your product. The coin and its display case are shipped to you with a themed shipper that includes a Certificate of Authenticity printed on it.

The Big Cats Series debuts with the King of the Jungle. Perhaps more accurately described as the King of the Savannas, the lion is the second-largest wild cat species in the world and inhabits arid grasslands and savannas in sub-Saharan Africa. The lion will be followed in this series from the Pobjoy Mint by the tiger, cheetah, cougar, and black panther.

The obverse face of the 2020 2 oz Silver Republic of Sierra Leone Big Cats Lion features the national coat of arms for Sierra Leone. The national symbol includes a shield with a lion in passant pose standing on a field of waves with three torches above its head. The shield is also supported by lions with one lion on either side in a rampant pose.

On the reverse side of 2020 2 oz Silver Republic of Sierra Leone Big Cats Lion coins, you will find the left-profile portrait of a male lion’s head. The lion is a deep-chested member of the cat species with short, round heads and round ears. The male lion is easily identifiable as it is the only member of the cat family with a large, thick mane around its neck and head.

The Big Cats Series coins have several distinctive features. First and foremost, these releases are high-relief strikes. A high-relief strike puts a blank under immense pressure through several strikes in the coin press. The result is a coin with a sunken field that allows for greater 3D relief in the design strike. The denomination in this series is on the obverse rather than the reverse, and the words “Big Cats” are struck in raised relief on the reverse while “Lion” is incuse struck.

All Orders are fully insured by Silver.com from the time of carrier pickup to the time of finaly delivery, defined as a signature or delivery confirmation from the carrier. Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase.
