These 2020 1 oz Silver Australian Lunar Mouse Coins are available to you with new security features the Perth Mint is rolling out on its Lunar Series III coins. The reverse design field of all silver bullion coins, except the 10 kilo option, have a micro-engraved letter. This security mark is visible only under magnification.
Another new element to the Lunar Series III program is the inclusion of a platinum bullion coin. For the first time ever, the Perth Mint is offering a 1 oz platinum bullion coin. While the gold and silver bullion coins have separate designs, the gold bullion coin shares its design with the new platinum version of the coins.
On the reverse of 2020 2 oz Silver Australian Lunar Mouse Coins is the image of two mice on a corn stalk. Created by Ing Ing Jong, this image captures the two mice crawling along the stalk as the husk is peeled back and the duo chows down on some of the corn within.
The obverse of 2020 Silver Australian Lunar Mouse Coins includes the latest effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the sixth-generation Australian effigy of Her Majesty and was designed by Jody Clark, the same man who developed the fifth-generation portrait for the Royal Mint of England in 2015. This right-profile relief captures the Queen wearing the Royal Diadem crown.
