Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve protects one of the more unique ecosystems in the continental United States. A tallgrass prairie ecosystem is one that is native to central North America and consists of large swaths of wild grass and rolling hills. A tallgrass prairie regenerates through grazing by large mammals and through fire.

Whether natural or anthropogenic, fire creates a disturbance in the growth cycle of the tallgrass ecosystem. It helps to regulate the encroachment of tree growth within the ecosystem, recycles nutrients to the soil, and catalyzes the dispersal of seeds through the area. Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve protects the largest tallgrass prairie ecosystem still in existence in North America.

The obverse side of 2020 5 oz Silver ATB Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Coin features President George Washington. The nation’s first democratically elected leader, Washington served two terms as President of the United States of America and voluntarily stepped aside after his second term as part of a belief that constant, fresh leadership was required for the nation.

On the reverse face of the 2020 Silver ATB Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Coin is a depiction of the Regal fritillary among the towering blades of grass in the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Covering more than 10,800 acres of land around the Flint Hills region of Kansas, the preserve is the only unit of the US National Park Service that is managed by the federal government, but privately owned.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. When do I lock in my price?
