Each 2020-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle in this listing comes with a near-perfect certification from the NGC. Coins in PF69 condition exhibit full, original mint luster with a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Examples of acceptable flaws at this level include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines found outside of the primary focal fields.
UCAM stands for ultra-cameo and refers to the strong, frosted design elements and deeply-mirrored, clear background fields. The ER label stands for Early Release. This indicates the coins were received by the NGC for grading within the first 30 days of issue by the US Mint.
On the obverse face of 2020 Proof Silver American Eagles is a design known as Walking Liberty. This figure of Liberty was created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and shows Liberty walking from right to left across the coin’s design field. She holds out her right hand toward the horizon, wears the American flag across her shoulders, and carries branches of oak and laurel in her left hand.
The reverse side of 2020-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagles comes with the modern heraldic eagle of the United States. In this design, the powerful bald eagle supports the national shield on its chest and a triangular cluster of 13 stars above its head. The talons of the bird clutch the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace.
All Proof Silver Eagles have a mint mark from the mint of origin. In this case, that is a “W” mint mark on the reverse from the West Point Mint.
